So Easy

  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

The Branching Inward CD comes in a delightful cardboard softpak, hand crafted by small pixies in the fields of Greenland! Well, not entirely... It was actually recorded in Australia.

The packaging concept came from Simon Imrei himself, in conjunction with the fabulous Kat Kallady, and was designed by the equally gifted and awesome Jayden A Dowler. It features the disc, aforementioned softpak and a 16 page booklet with full lyrics and some shots from the again equally gifted and rad Stella Thurbon.

You should indulge in a physical copy as they have many applications, in addition to just being listenable. For example:
    - Xmas stocking filler,
    - Drink coaster
    - Part-time Frisbee (disc removal prior to game is recommended)
    - Bench-top or mantle ornament
    - Wedging agent to correct a bung table leg
... and the list goes on!

Be a little bit cheeky... Grab a hard copy! ;-)

Includes unlimited streaming of Branching Inward via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

lyrics

The air hits my face, salt water in my hair
This boat cuts through some place, mind's asleep don’t care where
Sunlight on the deck, hot as I walk along the edge
Life moving so slow, six years old and I let each person know

It was so easy to be exactly who I am

I'm spilling my drink. Did they see me throw it? I don’t think…
Quiet blue waves crash against us and shore to ship is complete

It was so easy to be exactly who I am

I remember the days when life was so simple
Only the good times stay in my mind
Oh, take me back to that
Time in the pictures, head first into
Safety and reason ignored, naive but so pure

Brothers winding me up and the bruises from yesterday just showed up
Crawl under the sheets. Maybe one day the bed will touch my feet

It was so easy to live all those years before
Oh, take me back to that
Time in the pictures, head first into
Safety and reason ignored, naive but so pure
